Here in the new millennium, upheaval and change are the hallmarks of our time. That's why it's more important than ever to learn the Bible's secret of being "established." In Romans, the apostle Paul wrote to a group of people who were living in a time similar to ours.
He told his friends, "For I long to see you in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be 'established.'" The Greek word translated "established" literally means "to be firmly and strongly fixed, even in the midst of a raging storm."
My question for you is, "Are you allowing God to 'establish you,' even as the pace of change accelerates?"
