PHILIPPINES: Victory Churches of the Philippines is growing again, yet growth simply in numbers, and the God-kind of growth, can be vastly different.
Even as VCA Philippines grows exponentially, the spiritual growth its members is also clearly evident. Apostolic leaders Rich and Ning Conte have caught hold of the Victory mandate, not only to reach the lost in their nation, but to properly disciple them and put them into their place in the Body of Christ.
They have put leaders in place who cater to every kind of person that comes through the door, from youth, to seniors, to families, and even to the sick. A healing class recently started up, and there are already testimonies of God's healing power that have touched those attending the class.
Jilde Pacsa was diagnosed with kidney stones in 1976, and for the past 34 years she suffered so severely from them that she was advised to undergo a lifetime dialysis (an artificial process of removing body wastes the kidneys could no longer perform). Pacsa attended the healing class offered by VCA Philippines, and has testified that she now no longer needs to undergo that process. Through the healing class, her faith caught hold of God's promises in His Word and she has completely recovered from her condition.
VCA has also introduced the "Discovery Class," an intensive course designed to set believers onto the path destined for them by God. Subjects range from basic Christianity to the deeper foundations of faith and connect attendees with opportunities to minister in ways they never thought they could.
Currently 200 people are attending the courses, ready to step into the long-term vision God has for them.
